It’s important for you as event organisers to be able to create ‘invitation only’ sessions, whether they be for VIP's or just private content sessions for select people. This gives greater flexibility on agenda design within the Grip platform. Private sessions can be; Webinars, Roundtables, Speed Networking sessions and regular sessions. Private sessions will only be visible in the event agendas of invited participants.
In this article we will cover:
How to create a private session
1. Click the drop down 'Event Settings'. Then click into 'Event Program'.
2. Click one of the three session options you would like to host a private session in.
3. Once you have filled out all other sessions information, click the 'Private Session' button (this will display as purple when toggled on). Click on the 'Private Invitees' tab and write the names of the people you want to invite to the private session.
4. Save the session as you would with a non-private session.
Now the private session will only show up in the agendas of those you have invited.
