In this article, we will guide you through the process of deleting your account and data from our system on either Web or Mobile app.
Please note that deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. This action will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our system. Ensure you are absolutely certain before proceeding.
Before You Begin: Make sure you have your event login credentials (username and password) ready.
Deleting Your Account via Web Networking
To delete your account using the Web Networking app, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in
Go to the event webpage and log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Go to the "Edit Profile" Page
Once logged in, hover over your profile picture and select "Edit profile" from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Navigate to "Account Settings"
On the "Edit profile" page, look for the "Account Settings" option on the left-hand side.
Step 4: Click "Delete My Account"
Click the "Delete my account" button. A popup will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.
Step 5: Confirm with Your Password
Enter your password to confirm the deletion. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our system, which can take up to 7 days to process. You will be automatically logged out.
Deleting Your Account via Mobile App
To delete your account using the Mobile App, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in
Open the event app and log in with your credentials.
Step 2: Go to the "More" Screen
On the Homepage, tap the "More" option (three lines) in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Scroll to the Bottom
On the "More" screen, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Tap "Delete Account"
At the bottom, you’ll find the "Delete Account" button. Tap it to start the deletion process.
Step 5: Confirm with Your Password
A popup will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Enter your password to proceed.
Step 6: Account Deletion
After confirming, the deletion process will begin. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 7 days. You will be automatically logged out of the app.
Important Notes:
- Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
- All profile information, saved data, and associated content will be permanently removed.
- If you delete your account by accident, you can contact the Event Organizer to create a new profile, but previous connections and activity will not be restored.
