Teams Export Guide

In this article, we outline what data is available in the different exports within the Grip Teams dashboard as well as how to access them. Grip provides event participants who have access to Grip Teams with two exports, Contacts and Meetings. For more information on the file format, check out this article here.

Understanding Contacts Export

  • The Contacts Export allows anyone with access to the Grip Teams to get a csv file of all users who interacted with someone linked to that team. Custom profile fields are included in a contact export.
  • The contact list includes all people who have:
        • A connection with someone linked to the team
        • A meeting with someone linked to the team
        • Or a badge scan with someone linked to the team
  • The fields included in the export are:
Connections &  Meetings Badge Scans

*Email and Phone Number is only included if one of your Team has scanned this Contact's badge, or if the Contact has chosen to share personal contact details Publicly or with their Connections.

 

How do you Export the Contacts CSV

The Teams Contacts can be exported in a CSV file. In order to export the data, please follow the steps below:

1. Once logged in, click on Teams, on the top right of the login page

2. Under the Teams section > Settings click on 'Export'

3. Under Export Contacts, click on 'Click to Generate CSV', once to generate the file and another time to 'Download'

4. Once downloaded, the file can be viewed

Understanding Meetings Export

  • The Meetings Export allows anyone who has access to the Grip Teams to get a csv file of all of the meetings that were scheduled with someone linked to the team
  • The purpose of the meeting export is to understand where and when different meetings are taking place
  • The meeting export can also be used to to populate your CRM system
  • The fields included in the export are:

How do you export the Meetings CSV

1. Once logged in, click on Teams, on the top right of the login page

FAQs

  • Will the export show all my meetings?

The export will show meetings with the status of 'Accepted'.

  • Where is the personal contact information?

In order to respect everyone's privacy as well as remain GDPR compliant we do not automatically share personal contact information (Email and Phone Number). For more information about contact sharing, read this article. The only time that a user's contact information will be included in the export is if the contact came through badge scanning.

  • How can I export all of my meetings into my personal calendar?

When a meeting request occurs you will receive an email notification about the meeting, from there you can add the meeting to your calendar. 

  • How can I schedule meetings for my teammate?
